Here are a few things I would like to see added to Alert Central.
- add the ability to set the importance of the email sent
by Alert Central. As we will are phones set to Alert on a High Importance email
but not for other importance’s. - Have the ability to have one step in the escalation policy
notify 2 members at the same time. Such as an Alert for a wireless issue will
notify the on-call member for network from the calendar and the main wireless
member for the network group in the same step of the escalation. - Add rules to select a escalation policy not a group. So we can have one escalation policy for
Network Remote Site and a policy for Network Wireless. So both policy can
notify the on-call member from the calendar but the Network Remote Site one
will also notify the network remote site member and the Network wireless will
notify the Network wireless member. - Add the ability to Notify an additional group in an escalation policy. As the 1st step
in the policy may be to notify the network on call member from the calendar and
the next step may be to notify the director on-call member from the calendar.
