Device with multiple links and Indirect connections.

Hi Guys,

Two requests for features.

1. Device with multiple links.

Let's say I have end device with four physical links (server). This device is connected to two switches, "switch1" and "switch2" (two links per switch). Is there a possibility to create such a view (for example when I'm looking on an end device properties, "current network connections"), so i could see all four links of my server on "switch1" and "switch2"? This is very useful option as it allows me to quickly find all links of particular device. In our current solution, we can search through the port descriptions (all descriptions on all ports, on all switches) to find those switches and ports, which were used to connect the end device. Please see the print screen with marked "Current Network Connections" section.

If there is already such option to see all links of a particular device in one view, then please advise where I can find it, as there is no info in documentation.

2. Indirect connections.

On the end device properties window I found links, that are described as "indirect connection". Currently I can only see, the plane info, that link goes through other network nodes and that's all. There should be an option to go deeper and see what nodes are in the middle and quickly move to see details about them. Pure information only, that link is indirect, is not accurate.

Thanks in advance for considering those features. I'm also counting for votes!

Kind Regards,

JaroslawG
