So the other day out of the blue after restarting services I got almost 200 'Volume has less than 5% free' alerts. Odd thing is, many of the volumes had more than 5% available, so I figured the alert got corrupt or something and recreated it. Now it won't trigger at all and I am stumped as to why. Here is my alert logic, can anyone see anything wrong with it?
Trigger alert when ALL apply:
- volume percent used is greater than 95
- Device category is not equal to CommVault (custom property we use to avoid alerts on 'spill and fill' drives)
- Trigger when ANY apply
- VolumeType is equal to Fixed Disk
- VolumeType is equal to FixedDisk
Why we have FIxed Disk and FixedDisk is unknown, but it shouldn't matter, should it?
Thanks in advance for any assistance!
