SQL Server, wondering if the Database Free Space Alert will calculate how much space is remaining on Drive for a SQL instance, or if it is just the DB file based on the Max Growth of the file (.mdf, .ndf., or .ldf). What happens if a file is set to unlimited growth, will it notify for the actual free space on the disk itself?
