We have deployed file sharing using Windows Groups (which is really Active Directory based authentication with restrictions on OUs). A feature that is missing is, when you sign in as the user and use File Sharing when send files, the MAIL attribute in AD could be used to populate the email address if defined.
Also the NAME attribute could be used instead of the login name for the name field.
End user experience would be better with this this improvement.
