FTP is an insecure, unencrypted protocol that is seldom used in production environments anymore. Replaced with more secure equivalents such as FTPS, SFTP, and SCP, SAM currently supports none of these protocols natively today. SAM should support these more common secure protocols by offering native SFTP, FTPS, and SCP User Experience monitors.
