Alerts are being automatically acknowledged via the way the group is setup. I guess I can increase the times & repeats, but once these are exhausted I'd prefer an option that they NOT be automatically acknowledged so that I'm assured a person actually saw the alert. However, the only option is to automatically assign it to someone and acknowledge or close it.
Also, when an Orion alert is no longer active & it still has not been acknowledged or closed, can there be a option to automatically changed the status so these are not sorted in with the other active alerts?
BUG: Also, an alert triggered at 4/2 2:45 pm (triggered time) on the orion server and it's marked as acknowledged by ME via Alert Central ... but I didn't acknowlege it. I did acknowledged an earlier alert with the same object name (Buffer Manager: Free pages) at 4/2 3:39 but it came into Alert Central at 2:05 PM and it was updated with 'no longer active', so I closed it. I tried to re-open the alert in alert central, but it's still flagged as acknowledged. How are these 2 alerts linked together between the server and alert central? It doesn't appear that the key is a unique one if it's flagging the wrong one as acknowledged.
